Ok Dace finally getting a bit of downtime after a fabulous holiday - time to listen to your new route:
Sampled vocal clips and great atmosphere going on here from the start ..
Those guitarists are verging on potterisms !! And those were always top notch as you'll remember no doubt.
I like the guitar work and the way you've placed it really nickel in the mix - the overall ambient feel is good too the little touches like the horn trill - just nice bud.
The drums... Very spatial within the mix a big stereo field indeed and I think that's what you went for here. However there sounds like some issues with reflection happening in there - when the snare roll drops along with main beat the two snares are clashing a little - for me bud drop the snare from the main beat when the roll kicks in and take the reverb/delay of the snare roll let that baby float !!
That aside this track reminds me of some of tracks I'd put together it's all about the moment the feeling that's flows from within .... I liked this a lot played it on repeat whilst writing these words
That's oscillating note st the end - class.
It's good to hear you pushing both your perception and craft here Dace a fine track with great production and ingenuity
