<p>New start, new city, new name, new EP out, yay. <br /> <br /> Fabrin is the solo project of Julia Fabrin Jakobsen (Jules &amp; The Fools, Hunter, JacSharp). <br />It feels weird writing about myself in third person so I am just going to write like a normal person instead!<br /><br /> I love singing, I love writing songs. <br /> I'm Danish, but I kind of grew up everywhere. When I was 15 I moved to Cape Town, where my music teacher encouraged my singing and made me sing in assembly at school, then I started singing harmony vocals for various Cape Town bands, then I started singing my own songs at gigs, then I gigged the hell out of every venue in town, then I wanted to be in a rock band, then I started a rock band, then I played some festivals and recorded some stuff, then I turned 22, then I fell in love with folk music all over again, then I started doing lots of solo gigs again, then I recorded a new EP, then I moved to Copenhagen. <br /><br /> And from here on out, I'm not really sure what's going to happen. But I still love singing, and I still love writing songs </p>
