Faux are an Indie band consisting of; Michael Hopkins (Lead Singer and Guitarist), James Carpenter (Bassist) and Joe Kajdi (Drums), who are all from South Croydon and have been together since July 2013. They've got a rapidly growing fan base, as fans and people from previous gigs have said they're performances are energetic, full of power and great to watch. Many people have said Faux's music is a mixture between Indie and Rock 'n' Roll, which is a good mixture and different. They've played at venues all over London and Croydon like; The New Cross Inn, The Fiddlers Elbow, Scream Lounge and The Underbelly. They've had the pleasure of playing with The Late Yetis at The New Cross Inn and Tooting Tram and Social. They have recorded their five track, debut E.P 'FAUX' and have planned for it to come out in late April. They were the first band to ever play at Tooting Tram and Social and Edge FM, where they met the Croydon Mayor.
