Filthy McGreedy is a veteran multi-instrumentalist and a singer/songwriter. An Orange County, CA native, he began his journey during the heyday of the 80s OC Punk. Then, like everyone else, he was transplanted to Seattle, where he played and performed on the fringes of the scene throughout the 1990s and beyond. Today he has relocated himself back to the SoCal Desert and is fully embracing “Desert Weird”. Through-out Filthy McGreedy’s career he has survived the O.C. Punk Scene, The Grunge Epidemic, earthquakes, riots, two marriages and an ever-so-slight problem with addiction and alcoholism. The end result of these experiences is that he found his true voice as a solo artist. Today, he combines the brutal honesty of punk rock, with the personal front-porchiness of more traditional genres to speak his mind. His refusal to be defined and his combination of multiple musical styles, depending on what suits each individual song, allows him to be artistically unpredictable while remaining relatable and personable. -Spastic Reflexes, Ltd.
