I like both of those , have used them on basses and guitars for years with no issues..., but , about a year ago I tried these D'Addario Auto Lock padded straps. The locking clip is built to the strap and no guitar mod is required. everything is super light weight, yet very secure. Moving from one instrument to another is simple and quick and it does'nt matter what type of strap pin is on any given instrument since the locking clip is on the strap. the Dunlops and Schallers require their specific end pin and screw to accomodate the locking mechanism
