Dorothy Sloop (9/26/1913 – 6/28/1998), also later known as Dorothy Sloop Heflick, was an American jazz pianist. A native of Ohio, her nickname was Sloopy, and she was the inspiration behind the song 'Hang on Sloopy', written by Wes Farrell and Bert Berns, and best-known from the version recorded by the rock band The McCoys (1965). In 1985, it became the official rock song of Ohio...here the classic song was recorded live in the summer of 2015 by 'The Band of Brothers', which was a jam session/party in a studio in NYC...some of the musicians: Ryan Sam (vocal), Fofi Lancha and Guy Boissiere (drums), Rick Pascual, Brian Strahl and Michael Katz (bass), Wayne Shuster and Gary Dabrowski (keyboards), Ed Howe and Dave Grant (guitar).

Greetings everyone...here's a collection of my musical recordings, primarily but not exclusively performed and recorded by myself. Some songs are originals, and some are covers. Genres include Rock and Roll, Blues, Jazz, Oldies, Pop, and even some Classical. I play the Hammond organ, piano, synthesizers, samplers, guitars, drums and do the vocals. Thanks for visiting!
