<p><span style="color: #ffff99;"><span style="font-size: medium;">Gypsy Earth is a Perth based band formed by Serge Rodriguez in 2009. <br /> Born in Montevideo, Uruguay (South America) the younger of two siblings, brought up by his grandmother and uncles in a hard-working blue-collar family, Serge begun his musical career at a very early age in an acoustic duo singing with his older sister. Their repertoire included classic South American folk songs as well as songs by other overseas acts that represented the heated socio-political climate of the day... <br /> At age 18, carrying a bag-full of dreams, he migrated to Australia, where he worked and lived in the western suburbs of Melbourne, later married and had a child... <br /> For a period, life as it often does, took Serge through some varied and at times, colourful paths, providing him with new experiences, adding fodder to his thinking, re-shaping his view on life, the human condition and social fairness. <br /> Now based in Perth, Western Australia he writes songs that story-tell a one man&rsquo;s walk through life...</span></span></p>
