<p>HEAR THE COLORS<br />Brice Cagan had started organizing the concept of Hear the Colors over a year ago while attending the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. In order to turn that concept into reality, he moved to Los Angeles. There he met Joey Cleveland. Joey had been recording and touring in the Los Angeles area for most of his life and was looking for a project that he could completely commit to. Upon their first meeting , they immediately began writing and recording throughout the summer of 2010.&nbsp;<br />What developed out of the two is a unique sound, even despite how heavy their music could get, each song had a theme, a vision, a unique sound and track was graced with their own specifically illustrated art work courtesy of Brice Cagan. Another highlight is that these individuals are storytellers of the highest caliber. Through their writing, arrangements and delivery, you will hear and experience the story&rsquo;s as if you lived through them.<br />Hear the Colors is proud to release their lead single from Act 1, &ldquo;Sound and Sight&rdquo;, which is off of their debut CD, Synesthesia. The CD has multiple meanings within each song and constantly refers to Synesthesia as an example. Synesthesia is defined as a condition in which one type of stimulation evokes the sensation of another, as when the hearing of a sound produces the visualization of a color. Brice Cagan has been diagnosed with this disorder.&nbsp;<br />The CD Synesthesia is broken up into four acts. The lead song is taken from Act 1, which is themed by overtures, layered acoustics and complicated arrangements of energy. It has been released in its digital format for the time being. It is also considered to be an anthem to this groups&rsquo; goals and vision. Played with emotion and conviction, this song proves to be a true example as to the type of individuals who create Hear the Colors. &ldquo;We wanted to do our best to outline our sound and give listeners an idea to what diversity and importance the album means to us.&rdquo;<br />This CD has not been released in its totality. Estimated release date of the entire four acts is early 2011.&nbsp;<br />Hear the Colors is currently working with A &amp; R Select based in West Hollywood, Ca. for licensing, publishing, a record deal and/or placement opportunities.
