Another breath, another minute
Won't you please tell me if I did it
Are my guts still on the outside looking in
Is it really time to have to breathe again

Body becomes a mind of its own
Paralleled only to a waning soul
Existence not optional, so it's been said
So great an effort just to breath air in

Please do not implore the art to fly alone
A regard indecorous for the severely torn
Subjected by choices, imposed upon me
Will this soul recover, there is no guarantee

Another breath, another minute
Won't you please tell me if I did it
Are my guts still on the outside looking in
Is it really time to have to breathe again

The torrent of pain, too much to endure
The burning within, draws me to the floor
Physic and spirit are carelessly maimed
Abdomic acid encroaches upon this aching brain

Resisting a course that does not need to be
Nothing I do now can stop the suffering
Incessant and persistent, darkness covers me
I pray the veil of night will bring eternal sleep

Another breath, another minute
Won't you please tell me if I did it
Are my guts still on the outside looking in
Is it really time to have to breathe again                        (Will I remember to breathe again)
