Very quiet intro, then about the one minute mark it wakes up with some force. This has some lovely yet quirky melodic feels about it. There is an underlying sense of depth. Great little piece well done

beautiful classical piece Jack. enjoyed the build up on the song. those low volume intros always do wonders for me as I crack up my volume to hear the details and then the tune kicks in sending my morning diet pepsi for a ride .
you must be using some great gear because your strings and horns sound authentic. very nice indeed.

Been a guitarist since seven, piano since 11. Played Tuba in school and anything else I could get an "A" in. First long-haired rock band at 16, top-40 bands, country band, even a Mariachi band playing bass one night! Never made much money so I had to get a trade (Plumbing). Two kids and a wife who has put up with me for 22 years. Played on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood in the early 80's when everyone had spandex and long-hair (We decided to go new-wave with skinny ties!) Favorites band: the Beatles, but I listen to most anything from Ella Fitzgerald to Regina Spektor. I also love classical, Stravinsky, Tchaikovsky, Prokofiev, Rimsky-Korsakov, and George Gershwin thrown in. Love Broadway tunes and not even **** (not that there's anything wrong with that.) Cabaret is probably my fave. Love Italian film and Dostoyevsky.....anything else? I'll get back to you.
