Been a guitarist since seven, piano since 11. Played Tuba in school and anything else I could get an "A" in. First long-haired rock band at 16, top-40 bands, country band, even a Mariachi band playing bass one night! Never made much money so I had to get a trade (Plumbing). Two kids and a wife who has put up with me for 22 years. Played on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood in the early 80's when everyone had spandex and long-hair (We decided to go new-wave with skinny ties!) Favorites band: the Beatles, but I listen to most anything from Ella Fitzgerald to Regina Spektor. I also love classical, Stravinsky, Tchaikovsky, Prokofiev, Rimsky-Korsakov, and George Gershwin thrown in. Love Broadway tunes and not even **** (not that there's anything wrong with that.) Cabaret is probably my fave. Love Italian film and Dostoyevsky.....anything else? I'll get back to you.
