Jeep White was born and raised in the mountains of West Virginia. The great grandson of Valentine "Judge Wall" Hatfield, Jeep grew up on mountain music and a heritage filled with tales and stories of the Hatfield McCoy Feud. The ups and downs of coal mining in Appalachia gave him the incentive to relocate to the musically rich shores of South Carolina. He has played in Country, Hillbilly, Rock & Roll, Top 40 and Blues Bands throughout the years. The music scene in Charleston, South Carolina, has allowed him to resurrect a lifetimes worth of writing. A cross between Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Neil Young and BB King, his original songs move from country to blues, serious to amusing, covering the spectrum of the struggles and triumphs of the lives we live. Full of emotion, his songs are sure to touch you, make you think, make you laugh and make you cry.
