Blue tickles the ivories. Blue manhandles the ivories. Blue shreds the ivories (and if Jerry Lee hadn't done it already, he would light 'em on fire). If you like a smokin' bluesy B3 organ, Blue will satisfy your need. Blue is also quite proficient at obtaining just the right synth sound for any given song.

Having found a sudden interest in piano in the fourth grade, he never looked back. Music has been an integral part of his life ever since, and he remains as passionate about playing music today as the day he started.

Formally schooled and musically educated, starting in sixth grade Blue played flute in the concert band in 6th, 7th and 8th grades. In high school Blue continued playing flute in the concert, marching and symphonic bands through 12th grade. As well, Blue sang in the choir, mens choir and madrigals in 11th and 12th grades. In 11th and 12th grades Blue joined the Jazz band as keyboardist. In fact, having completed his required courses in 11th grade, six of his seven 12th grade classes were musical (with the exception of drama class).

From 1974, Blues' last two years of high school were where he cut his teeth in the professional arena of Rock 'n' Roll, forming a Chicago style Top-40 band named 'Westwind' that performed professionally in and around the San Francisco Bay Area.

After having moved to the Southern California area in 1978, Blue toured two countries in the all original rock band 'Raisin' Caine.' 'Raisin' Caine' also performed locally as an original band in all the then popular original clubs in Los Angeles County and Orange County, California, as well as playing Top-40 in more clubs he can now think of both locally and on the road.

Blue was also instrumental in forming the Orange County local A-list bands 'Straight Up' and 'Twist Of Fate' in the 80's and 90's. He then took off to Memphis to 'absorb the Blues firsthand' and ended up forming the all blues band 'De Delta Dawgs', with members of 'Canned Heat' and 'John Lee Hookers' band. 'De Delta Dawgs' then went on to play Bluestock (a major festival on world-famous Beale Street in Memphis) and the Memphis Blues Festival, as well as many clubs on 'Beale Street' and up and down the Mississippi delta.

He has toured all 48 of the continental United States as keyboardist and musical director with the national act 'The Bobby Freeman Show', as well as touring extensively with the international Reggae Band 'Rascalin and The Roots Rockers,' most notably headlining the 'Annual Bob Marley Festival Tour' series.
