Trumpeter, composer, and arranger Ronnie Waters studied music at Lincoln University and the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. Served as Dance Band Director of the 427th Army Band in Europe. Has performed with countless jazz greats over the years, namely, John Brown, Ditty Potter, Lex Humphries, Al Grey, Frank Foster, Art Davis, Cedar Walton, Slide Hampton, Donald Byrd, and Cedric Lawson. Has also performed with all the major jazz artists in Central Pennsylvania. With Shirley Scott's band Ronnie played on Bill Cosby's "You Bet Your Life" TV show filmed in Philly. Since 1983, Ronnie Waters organizes and conducts the Central Pennsylvania Friends of Jazz Youth All Star Band.
