Served as Dance Band Director of the 427th Army Band in Europe. Has performed with countless jazz greats over the years, namely, John Brown, Ditty Potter, Lex Humphries, Al Grey, Frank Foster, Art Davis, Cedar Walton, Slide Hampton, Donald Byrd, and Cedric Lawson. Has also performed with all the major jazz artists in Central Pennsylvania. With Shirley Scott's band Ronnie played on Bill Cosby's "You Bet Your Life" TV show filmed in Philly.
