American singer-songwriter Karina Noel realized early in her young 20 year old life that she’d been using music to channel her thoughts on love, loss, and life’s uncertain journey. From her earliest compositions at age 11 to her latest 4 track EP entitled “Blue Collar Love”, Karina has depended on her natural talents of self taught piano and melody creation to deal with and ultimately understand what life and love are about. Prodigious in songwriting since her early teens, she penned nearly 100 songs before she learned to drive. Her musical creations are infused with haunting melodies and penetrating lyrics that often outpace her tender age. “Nowadays,” Karina shares, “it’s easy to tell what music is true and what is just noise. I try to give every song its own character. I don’t want to settle writing safe music.” So strongly a chord did her EP strike with listeners, it has received Audio Verse Award’s “Best Composition in a Production” award for her track “By Her Side”. Already pursuing a major in Music Business at New York University, Karina Noel will be very busy in 2015 with plans for live performances in New York City and the release of her second EP.
