So its been a while since I've been on Mixposure at all. Per my last blog, I've been all kinds of busy with work, moving to a new place, and working hard on the new album, half of which is completed. It's definitely coming along as my strangest album with sounds ranging from watery and ambient to heavy jazz. I put up those two tracks as an update. They're called Hadopelagic and Waiting For The Moon. Hadopelagic refers to the deepest parts of the deepest trenches in the world's oceans. Take a look, and have a great day :D
Well, it's in French. It came out sounding much cleaner than it would have in English. I posted the lyrics up in both languages so you can listen and read along. This song brought me to the edge of something that I'm not sure I understand, so I'm curious as to what you guys have to say about it. Thanks for everything Mix.

Je suis seule
et je ne veux que vivre

dans rêves, je descends
vers le bas sous les vagues

Sur La Mer Noire
où je pleut dans la nuit

Sur La Mer Noire
où mon coeur vient pierre

la lune est noire
trop aiment mes yeux

qu'est-ce que ai je fais?
que je conteste mer

Sur La Mer Noire
où je pleut dans la nuit

Sur La Mer Noire
où mon coeur vient pierre
______________________________________________________________

I am alone
and I only want to live

in dreams, I descend
beneath the waves

on the black sea
where I weep in the night

on the black sea
where my heart becomes stone

the moon is black
too much like my eyes

what is it that I have done
that I challenge the sea?

On The Black Sea
where I weep in the night

On The Black Sea
where my heart becomes stone
I honestly can't get enough of this website, even the blogs give me kicks. So, now that Gears Within is done, what do I do now? Take a break? Will the Sun fail me? No. So I'm on my way to the beginning of my very next album. I won't upload tracks right away, as I just dropped a wheelbarrow of tracks into my playlist here. But, I will let you in on some information regarding the album.

The ocean has always held a strange place in my heart. My very darkest fear is being dropped into the middle of the Pacific Ocean at night with calm seas. Imagining the auditory silence and visual nothingness is nothing short of terrifying to me. I realized in Gears Within that so much of my music is dark and sinister (thanks Margot). With that, I decided to explore that emotion 150%. Imagining with every song that I'm out on those black seas, not knowing anything, but feeling everything. The title of the album is a reflection on how people will view it. It's going to be called Sur La Mer Noire, which means "On The Black Sea" in French. I chose this title because upon seeing the title, some people won't understand it. Upon listening however, it comes to pass that the description doesn't matter so much as the very experience of being in those waters. I'm not sure how I'm going to work that kind of panic into the songs, but it should be really unsettling. Wish me luck!
Woohoo!!! I just upgraded to Mix. Silver. It's so awesome. As a result of the new found freedom, there I uploaded the rest of Gears Within and almost all of Guides Through Time! There's lots to listen to now

p.s. - If you liked High Tide, listen to The Interloper or Citadel!
So, I'm going to be upgrading to a Silver account so I can get more songs uploaded onto here. I have a feeling I'll be more interactive that way. As a precursor to all that jazz, I uploaded a new song, Kaleidoscope. Give it a listen
I wanna throw a HUGE thanks to Mike for playing High Tide on the Saturday Night Rocks show on Mix Radio this evening. I totally wasn't expecting it! And thanks to everyone in the Mix Radio Chatroom who commented and liked the track. You guys are awesome!!!
Mike played Bum Rush too! To startling reception to everyone in the chat room. Thanks again!
I put up a song called This City. Listen to it if you're really tired and just want to slow down in a hyper-active world.
Hey there. Constrained to only 5 songs, I had to remove Stays of Direction and High Tide to make room for two other tracks from the album Gears Within. Check them out, they're called Chaos Theory and Bum Rush. Chaos Theory is a little more industrial electronic, and Bum Rush is a balls out reckless electronic track. enjoy!
