<p>Started playing guitar in the mid 80's during the hair metal invasion. I listened to Poison, Firehouse, Guns 'n Roses, Whitesnake, etc. I took lessons for a couple of years locally from an established guitarist that was the same age as me, but he left for the Berklee College of Music, so that ended my time of lessons. Over the years, I haven't practiced much...I feel that I've gotten slightly better, but it sure would have been nice to have the internet to get instructional vids and any music I wanted back in the 80's to early 90's!</p>
