Lazie J creates and plays 80s classic rock music with a tinge of modern rock influenced by the greats of 70s and 80s. The band is a joining together of talents who have been in the music scene for more than 25 years.
Lazie J was formed by the Duo of Jay Pillai and Manoj who got introduced in their last years of school and from then onwards has been together in this journey of Rock music ...almost 28 years ...They initially formed a band called The Autumnleaf which they carried forward for 25 years and ventured in to Lazie J to look out for more variations in sound from their established sound. The band presently has Jay as vocals and Rhythm guitars , Manoj as Drummer , Veteran Rock Guitarist John Anthony ( more than 3000 Movies and multiple international projects ) and Jayakumar in Guitar section and Multi Instrumentalist Rahul CR as the Bassist
Ever since their formation Lazie J could establish presence and gain fan following from music listeners across the world and has got repeated air plays especially on many Radio stations in countries such as US, UK, Australia , Portugual, Spain, Finland etc and some other radio shows across the world. Lazie J Video has Featured in MTV UK and their song in BBC Radio recently and has an off shoot called Lazie Bison which is a collaborative with Canadian and Swedish Musicians. The Lazie Bison toured India Feb 2018 and was featured in Rolling Stones Magazine. Lazie J has also been featured in Print mags like TMN , Voyage Addictarium , The Hindu and many music blogs across the world. The duo Jay and Manoj have appeared 3 continuous seasons in Kappa TV India Music Mojo show which has millions of viewers across the world .
