A small town lady with a big town passion and talent. Born and raised in Northern Ontario. A singer, song writer and rhythm guitarist. Having frontlined a talented local band for several years and a few Duos, throwing her heart and soul into every performance. Now it is Lorrie's turn to go after her dreams and goals of becoming a solo artist.
Her earliest musical influences go back to her Grandpa Jule as he played the old classic country stars such as Hank Williams Sr, Ferlin Husky and many more. Lorrie's first song she learned how to play was Hank Sr's " I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry", however it did not stop there as her parents, aunties and uncles sprinkled her with good old rock and roll, country, folk and blues. Lorrie says, " Music needs soul" and she portrays this in her perfomances and her own original songs as well.
Having finished recording her CD titled: Lorrie Lynn - High Road - a mix of country, country rock and soulful ballads she is certainly on her way. Lorrie's own words seems to sums it up, " I have songs in me, I want to keep writing and performing as long as anyone will listen. Smiling, happy and moving forward. Bring on the music"
8 songs from her cd recorded in Nashville Tn at High Demands Studio, 2 others, website and promotions in the hands of Doo White of The Glass Poets Lyricists in Sacramento Ca.
