Something I Said
Fake drum version mix #1
Written and recorded by Mack Sanders c2011 BMI
I've been searching,
I've been finding,
That I am lonely, as a man can be,
Baby please come on home, living in misery,
And I've been thinking about your sweetness,
and we've come too far up the road, you see,
Girl there ain't no doubt about it, your my journey and my destiny,
Did I, do you wrong, treat you bad?
When I made you cry did it make you mad?
When I, sleep all day, play out all night,
home in the morning in time to fuss and fight,
I've been thinking about your sweet love, whoa honey why, do you walk away?
Was it something I said, or something I didn't say?
Did I treat you bad, do you wrong?
When i made you cry guess it made you strong,
come here,
Climb on baby now it's getting dark,
Don't you know that you can trust me with your heart?
I've been thinking, about changing,
Whoa baby why you walking away?
Was it something I said or something I didn't say,
Whoa, was it Something I said?
Whoa, Was it Something I said or something I didn't say.....
❤️
you hoooooo Love it!!
great heartfelt blues--really enjoyed this-everything about it--love the vocal growl--way to go!
Very gritty, hard core song. Great work Mack
A song really hits home...when the lyrics are words that have been said to your face in real life......and these have !......Mack....your vocals are very convincing and the instrumentation could not be any better.....but it's the actual words that make this appealing to the masses.....everyone has lived through a somebody done somebody wrong moment.....I'm re-living one now !!Great song.
