You can do it  - you know you can do it

when our parents were absent

we spent the days with our granny

in her smock apron and with her curlers

she always gave us support

when we were young                  we had so much fun

we lived free as a bird

we had to learn how to behave

how to take part in that game

and how to stand a day in the rain

Me and my brother

My mum and my  father

We were like everybody

Just a sweet common family

Sometimes when falling we heard our knees

And more than once we climbed up the trees

We rested lazy in the sunshine

We forgot meals and in the world of divine

But We ran our race                     And we found our place

We were young                             and we had so much fun

We all are one                               Every thing is one
