<p>Mrs Kyte is a 1960s psychedelic/garage rock studio project by Milan based guitarist/songwriter Carl Schonbeck. Originally from the Boston area, Carl cultivated a love for garage-rock and psychedelia during the 1980s and continues find it a source of inspiration to this day. Similar in spirit to XTC's Dukes of Stratosphere project (there's a great interview where Andy Partridge talks about tastes changing, growing up "and then you don't get to be in the Dukes of Stratosphere....we thought we'd rectify that"), Mrs. Kyte pays homage to bands such as the Yardbirds, Doors and Moby Grape etc. and at the same time presents strong (we hope anyway...) original material from a young at heart guitarist who tries to remember rock is about having fun.</p>
