Reminds me. a little of a Final Fantasy sort of tune.
Except for the no nonsense voice over and switch to electric guitar and upbeat. Are those demisemiquavers?

Interesting vocal delivery, quite a range displayed in the first 60 seconds. The harmony vocals are wonderful, adding to the tone of the song, leaving the listener a taste, and yearning for more.
I like the tremelo on the opening guitar. It kind of sets up the melancholy mood of the song and then your excellent vox enters to futher the dreamy state of sadness in the lyric. Nice!

Ouch!! This song is more than a little painful. Great vocals. When it breaks into harmonies I can just imagine CSNY and Four Way Street. I wonder what it would sound like if you added that heavy bass sound they used.
