billb summed it up quite well, seems to me. In a slightly uncomfortable way I enjoyed this. A lot. It is unique. I love the originality. Standing ovation from here.

I sat down, leaned back, and completely enjoyed this tune! It unfolds in a most interesting way, to me at least. Love the instrumentation. This was a pleasure and I appreciate you sharing this.

Love the floating guitars back and forth in the stereo field. Mighty fine guitar playing. A cool and interesting tune, too. I enjoyed this, Paul.

....hint....hint....hint.....hehehehehehehehe
To follow up that acoustic version was tough, but you excelled with this. superb well done
ok here it goes!
Shane there are elements in this tune that just blow my mind. I have the acoustic version on my ipod so I am familiar with the tune hehe. The one thing that does not grab me about this version is the distorted rhythm parts that are repeated through the track. The first one is around 58 seconds. Maybe they are just too upfront for me or the tone is not thrilling me? I know you are trying to give this an edge though.
That is the only thing that stuck out to me in this track. The distorted solos are awesome as are the clean tones. Vocals and production are superb!
Song is Deep, no mreally quite another great song by Shane, very well performed and vox is superb! Rat!
Sorry man, I liked everything about it. The delivery was powerful, The sound full and bright, production crystal clear. My only suggestion was that the ending was too abrupt. Sounded unfinished and just faded too fast. Geat job guys!!!!
Hey Bros....here goes my honest opion....I love the song... I even like the drum sound... the drums are just to busy.... should be 4 over 4 to the floor....straight ahead and simple... i love everything else ....Great JoB!......Thx,Bud
Sorry, Shane, I'm not going to be much help to you. Have had three listens so far and can't come up with any suggestions for improvement. The production on this is really top notch. Vocals are great as usual, and the instrumentation just right. Particularly like the bass parts. At times the mood of the song puts me in mind of Owner of a Lonely Heart by Yes. Michael's done a great job on the lead breaks. Beautiful tone and phrasing. Lovely work.
Cheers
Brian
ABOUT: Cinderella
Perhaps about 10 years ago, standing in an abondoned house where i used to go with my acqustic guitar to practice playing and singing, i had the pleasure of dreaming up this song and feeling out the guitar riffs. The sentiment behind the lyrics is of empathy and consideration toward the girl who never gets asked out, and perhaps finally gets a date offer, buys a new lovely dress for the event, but gets stood up-- . yeah , that's our Cinderella.
A few months ago we posted a raw original recording of this song with the plan of creating a band version. Well here it is coming into being. The track posted here is not the finished version of Cinderella. Towards the end of this track there are loos ends- .
As a producer i will benefit, the production will benefit from the comments ya'll make- considering the final stages of production yet to be done here.
The instrumentation here is by Shane with Michael Styron on Lead guitar.
THANKS !!!!! Budrumming,, that is super helpful. Thanks for sharing your reaction about the drums too busy . - we will look into that . !!
shane
Most wonderful ambient atmosphere and effected vocals, shining keys and adorable riffs giving "crunch" and chord changes giving character... More goose bumps & another magical song by Shane & Michael!!!
