Great vocals and lyrical theme! I like the upbeat-ness of the total sound. The lead break is rockin'! This style reminds me a little of Peter Wolf's (J. Giels Band) solo music. Nicely done!

For a demo, this is excellent. Most artists would love to put down a number of this quality. well done
I think the drums are to low in the mix
Shane....even when the signed stars perform "unplugged", they make mistakes. So I wouldn't worry if I were you. It's nice to hear a song not "ironed". Personally, I love this and would leave it as is. However, in reading the comments here, I know it's going to become a full head-on production. And in knowing that, it's going to be mind blowing!!!
Shane! Don't muck with this at all. I love this as is. I can see this song sitting in a CD of other songs -- all of them with the usual production -- then, WHAM! This song comes up and just kicks the listener in the nads, man. It is the type of song that would really stand out in a setting like that. It is that good of a song, just as it is.
I wish my raw acoustic demo's sounded like this! I find it really refreshing and often a real eye-opener to hear the bare, stripped-back version of a song where the emphasis becomes very much focused on the vocal, and the delivery here is superb. I always say that if a song can stand up on it's own in it's naked form then it has every chance of being a real winner when the "band" arrives. Nice!

Un-plugged.......one take ? Doesn't hardly seem fair,the excellence you've displayed here is outstanding !!Purity isn't an easy thing to accomplish.This song has it's place as does all your other very finely produced songs.The direction one COULD take with this is mind-boggling !!

Nice demo, or is it? When you put something out there that is uncut - no edits - all acoustic ... well you are allowing the listener to hear you at the most intimate and vulnerable level. Your talent shines through and I have to thank you for posting this in it's unplugged state. Excellent song that stands on it's own.
DACE !!! no worries bro. I understand what your saying,, and it's perfectly in order. The raw acqustic version of a song has it's own areas of value,, but in many cases , the full potential of a track is not reached without it being carried through to it's produced form,, .
Michael said he likes this one alot,, and so it shall be done.- the way i percieve the direction to take this track ,, is a fairly heavy feel,, so this oughta be a blast for The DEEP !!
