Full throttle, all cylinders firing and epic right out of the gate. Mighty fine good sir! Just a killer tune and your musicianship is off the charts, RD! Love it.

A wonderful song, Rich! The acoustic picking and sound is so ethereal. Great vocals as I've come to expect from you and you didn't disappoint...very cool!

Farrell, thank you brother, I am so happy that you enjoy this song. Christmas is my favorite time of the year. Just knowing that a song I wrote for my grandpa is liked by someone really means a lot to me my friend. I hope that you and your family have a very Merry Christmas brother, again Thank you so much.
It's great to hear all these Christmas songs being posted up Kit. I need something to get me into the Spirit of Christmas and this song is helping me down that road. Heartfelt lyric my friend!
Bill I am so happy you enjoyed the song. I wrote for my Grandfather after he passed away. I play it every Christmas eve at midnight mass, at my neighbor Doc Greene's Church. Doc Green is my neighbor Beth Vanorver's father. She has sang on a few of my songs. The reason I reposted this on my mix page is, I was going though all my songs and realized I posted the wrong version of the song. The one I had up had way too much reverb on it. You know now that you mention it , it does have that feel of a song on a Johnny Cash album. Its about all our lost loved ones. I inserted the first part of the Lords Prayer in it, because that is the one thing no one person, country, or ideal, that can be taken away from us. We don't need anywhere special or any time. When we feel the need we just pray. And at Christmas we pray for our lost loved ones, friends, family and even our lost pets. And they are looking down upon us at Christmas and their tears of joy for us is the crystal snowflakes that fall. Mary Clare is from New York, upstate, and lord does she do a great job singing on the song. When she was looking to buy a nice guitar I hooked her up with my friend Lance who has a music store, and she bought a real nice guitar, acoustic, and my friend, Lance even marked the price down for her. She also sings on my song Guitar Mann. What a wonderful lady with a wonderful voice to bring an angelic sound to the song. Again Thank you Bill.
This is really a nice and touching song Kit. Has a real old school vibe, like something you'd hear on an old Johnny Cash Christmas album. The Lord's Prayer is a nice touch as well. Mary Claire added a lot of authenticity to the song as well. Great job!
