I stopped by to see what was happening at your site TV and you are getting quite a collection of songs! I had better get to writing some new songs before you overtake me, lol!

I reviewed this one already but it deserves another go. The music to this one reminds me (has a similar vibe) of Chrissie Hynde and The Pretenders "Back On The Chain Gang"....a compliment since I like that group a lot. Cool words and vocal work! Joseph did an excellent job with the music and production...good stuff!

Damn interesting lyrics Bill. They are certainly humorous with that "Mark Twain" kind of humor that sneaks in between your ribs. Your tendency to clone Bob Dylan's style at times is fun as well. Joseph does his usual amazing job at creating music on demand.

Thanks Farrell...  clones can get fat eatin' too many scones! lol

Even I was amazed at the number of rhymes there are with clones!  Just a silly ditty that, as I said in the description, is more a poem set to music than a true song... When I first wrote it, I thought of some beatnik reading it in a coffee shop back in the early 60's and then J-Rod got a hold of it. Definitely fun and, yes, Joseph helped it out big time with his music and production.

A unique and interesting concept with the lyric Bill. I don't think I've ever heard lyric about being a clone. You certainly found all the rhymes to go with the word clone. Great vocals from you and Jacki! Joseph did an excellent job on the backing track as well.  I like the surf music beat. My only advice about about being a clone is do your best to fit in with the other scones, lol.  I couldn't help myself.....a very entertaining song !!!!!

Thanx Farrell. Rusty sure can pickup on what I like in a song. Actually Rusty changed my bass into the other instruments and added his bass. Fine producing to day the least.

Another excellent collaboration from Ern and Rusty! Cool jungle sound effects, drums and backing tracks Rusty. Ern you are a regular 'ol Head Hunter, lol. I like it!

Hi Michel....I had the pleasure of listening to an interview you did with GHP Radio one night. What a night....brilliant music and amazing musician.GREAT attitude you shared that night as well. Awesome to have some of your fantastic music at the MIX.

All the best,

Larry T

you've surpassed description in words with this Mike.  The precision in guitar skill , overall musicianship and composition is excellent.  I like  the elctric Guitar lead ,   an essence of country Music ganre comes through in the tone and style there.  Well, this track , is a must download.

Beautiful, pure guitar sounds hearken to more innocent moods and times.

Great guitar work Mike.

Found this tune on one of my external drives. Glad I did. This is one when I could still do some finger picking, before I damaged my Ulnar nerve. Polished it up a bit. If you's looking for drums, there aren't any. Stringed instruments only. Hope, you enjoy!

Music on this track is great and has a strange ethereal jazzy feel. Vox, as ever, are top class.

This track is really good.  I like how your voice remains clear and flowing with the music even when the music subsides and so does your voice.  The backing track is simple and uncluttered with over-production.  This is pristine music and I could set the player on repeat and listen to it till I dozed off.  Oops, I just fell off my chair and dragged half of my desktop onto the floor with me. vig

Love funk, and  you do it so well. I can hear the Stevie in you coming through...funkiliscious...love the backing vocals! Move and grooves and mix/production is slick...appreciate the effort sunk into this tune!  Shows with a polish!:)

Love the vocals, real smooth performance, great bass groove.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting Gary!
