I absolutely love it when covers don't sound like the original. Music is a lot like theater, in that directors' choices should be "textually" based, but be interpretive at the same time.
I didn't know more than a handful of people even remember the work of Ravel! No surprise that you do!!! I love how you've done an impression of the impressionists work! I think he'd be flattered, and appreciate what you've done. The textures are fantastic.
Of the Impressionistic period of art and music, Ravel is in my favorites!!

Awesome. I love this piece. it has a modern spin on a very unique time period in time. you do this very well. Excellent Job.
Nice mix. Perhaps not for the purist, but the changing textures and the new take on the mix are interesting if not beautiful. There's always room to make something new of something old and this has been done exquisitely here. Bravo!
you told me you loved the French composer and I find it beautiful that you mixpose us to that great music so forgotten by a generation and there is so much to be still learned from those artists, their emotion is timeless as is their music, thanks you again for posting.
