You give this song time to unfold. Wonderful.
It builds slowly, like an exquisite opened bottle of wine that needs to breathe for a while to reveal its full bouquet.
I like this song. A lot.

Slide is amazing sometimes, like in this song.
I can hear that you have been a guitarist for sometime
Best wishes, Eirik Finbak
Very relaxing,love the slide
----"Beautiful"----
Great pickin' n' slidin'!! Duane is one of my all time favourite gt-player.
Excellent picking and slide in this for a real nice down to home feel to it. Much enjoyed and going for second play of it. Thanks Arthur
I always have huge appetite with acoustic music since young, like those old cowboy movies "The good, the bad and the ugly", "The magnificent seven", etc. My favourite cowboy actor was Charles Bronson. Like this piece of acoustic reminds me of all the good times I had. I love the ways you twist the acoustic like the pro, a neat way to make the listensers wonder. Wish I can play the guitar too but for the time being, I will stick to my spiritual flute then. LOL!
PS : I used to have a guitar at home but only mean to hang it on the wall for decoration coz nobody knows how to play it. LOL!
With million of love from Singapore.
Piperon - One and Only spiritual flute player on Earth.
Gee brother Vesa, this tune could be with 'Brothers in Blues' 'band concept, only if you added a 2nd player, mmm? maybe another acaoustic or bass, however...but it's so relaxing the way it is, likely better as is.
Loved the slide work.beautiful piece . Excellent guitaring
regards
Jay from the Autumnleaf
Call me crazy ( I don't mind...I am)but I hear Irish influences here...and everytime that slide blends in...That is so uplifting...It doesn't matter where the music came from...I'm happy it's here
Really appreciate the comments everyone. It's so nice to get away from teaching first term. Done! A break... & go for a walk & then have get into Mix & notice such motivating reviews/comments appear from artist friends here who's unique talents I admire alot.
Thank you again so kindly. This is a calming tune, perhaps, done at a
time when it reflects a need for my own bit of peace & calm & go to my folk/blues roots. Take care all.
Beautifully executed relaxed Sunday morning feel. Very nice!
Peace, Tony
Beautiful work Vesa. A very tranquil piece to wake up to and an enjoyable 1st listen. Great picking and wonderful slide work as always. Bravo !
Gabriel
Hey V I love the slide work in here. Vert tastefully done.
I love short pieces, and this one is just a jewel !
Thank so much. It's a tranquil kind of acoustic folk tune; love the melodic feel,- came out of my head maybe from many years after I heard some acoustic tunes' a fusion of Duane Allman/plus other ditty phrases put in, from maybe who knows,Leo Kottke to Chet Atkins to Blind Boy Lemon, dunno! maybe did, so I just improved partly what I recollected & made my own tune, & it just stuck this way. -Vesa.
Beautiful open tuning in D combination of picking and slide! It almost has a slight classical/folk feel to it. VERY VERY nice! Holley
hey Vesa, what a great metalic sound happening. So cool when you hit the harmonics, beautifully done. Thats a nice down progression on the picking part, totally makes this piece, great hook. That ending is cool to, like a tropical slide..well done.
Tribute to Duane Allman...
No Duane Eddy!
Hi Vesa,
a really nice acoustic track from you...
Wonderful Work!
Neda
Yep, this is as laid back blues folk as one can get. I like it, obviously he,he. Picked a late great slide mentor to inspire you, to keep his spirit alive, of Duane Allman. -The blues cats.
Thank you so much Songdoc David, Durod and Piperon for the very inspiring review/comments. I'm taken, just popped in and there it was...seeing what condition my song was in..ha,haa...Most appreciated guys. Thanks Bros.
Great tune. Like the simplicity -quiet of the song. It is a nice change.
Like that peddle steel almost sound at the end. Neat phrases. Melodic.
Good one. From your 'Bother'.
Had to check this one out since my name is in it and all; it's even spelled just like mine! Very nice tune and some really great guitar work; very light and enjoyable.
I love acoustic music and htis is no exception! As Pip I feel a touch of the old Western movie ... Duelling Banjos comes to mind..Deliverance? A well executed piece my friend with a few false endings it woold appear, running through it!! Took me by surprise...:)) Once again, I am relaxing to this atmospheric music...Gordon
I really like this song. We have become so accustomed to our "finely produced, home recorded, big sound masterpieces" it makes this song stand out in all its simple beauty. Thanks for remembering.
