The thick background pad at the first half is a great sound. The vocal harmonies give it a wonderful unified feel to it and keep it from sounding too unhappy or at least make one feel they are not...

I hear the Cranberries here, and that is a good thing. Love the harmonies and jangling guitars. I like the break after "I just close my eyes" leading into the Sonic Youth. You have done well to capture the mood evoked by the title.
