Swings great Gary, I always love a good horn section too, synth or not, this one has a great live feel to it, which I think comes from the drum and bass. Theres a lot of fine music from that era.

Just to let you know ~ 10 years later & people still love this song ~ I am one of them ~thanks for sharing
Guys: this is fantastic. Great recording/production and dynamics across the song.The build into the chorus section is cool as hell as is the climb back out.Brief pauses work so well here.
Vocals : the verses are nicely done : the chorus with the backing in sounds really strong especially the extended live.....
Drums/bass ; really hold this song together so well the pauses marked so well !
Guitar : nice picked lines and some great slide action along with rythm elements that sit in the mix just there without begging for center stage which is great.
Organ : cool as a keyboard player I can relate to those lines !
All round great track.

EXCELLENT Sound ALL around!!! Great Vocals, Song Writing, Production, Musicianship. I really loved the guitar tone and the mix with the organ...tasty bass lines..the song has a nice Brit Pop feel. The harmonies are SUPERB!!! GREAT JOB, GUYS!!! Joseph!! Nice to meet you in chat last evening

Very much an enjoyable listen. The song is simple and has a wonderful flow. The song and style reminds me of Tracy Chapman even with your singing.
Well mixed and produced, it's a keeper!
