March 20, 2003 the invasion of Iraq began. I sat there watching news reports. Suddenly, it occurred to me that the first day of war(s) always begin on sunny and blue sky days. As I sat watching, I penned a few short words. Less than a month later, NBC reporter, David Bloom died while he was embedded with the U.S. Third Infantry due to a deep leg thrombosis. Had been at home, his death could have been prevented.
The intro was good, made me smile as it reminded me of all that 70's- 80's acoustic solo stuff that was all the rage for awhile but after that the lyric kinda got a bit too blue moodwise for me and the music fragmented, hence your title "Blue" no doubt, and (Yikes lets not go there) that graphic.
