the lyrics are really good, great story telling. a great blues track it has a zeitgeist energy straight off the get go. and the vocalist just draws me in. excellent work.

Vese, I love this track. Warm and relaxed. Every nicely placed note counts. Not too showy. Letting the music breath within the cool, minimal arrangement. Trad blues, and yet as original as ever!

Nice to hear a 'bad' live recording, lol, I mean bad as in cool. Great sound on that Variax/dobro electric sound - can smell a wiff of that green smoke in the air...you should've hit that drunk, who bumped your mic. Great club sound,I guess that's a part of it... some good steady players, laid back, could have been longer..but fine fingering/slide stuff

Thank you for the kind remarks. I think it's time to get my ole blues friends together to play some summery gigs. That was fun; reheared, but the recording could have been better; not bad for a club sound- beer clanking & a drunk bumping the mic. It comes with the territory; almost forgot lol
