Hello Rich, i echo my thoughts i wrote to Eric. First off, thank you for stopping by, listening and leaving a comment. As you can tell, we never embarked on copying the original track. I was messing with chords on the digital piano and i thought, heck, that sounds like Creep. I took those chords to the keys and little studio set up and created a backing track structured on those chords and then passed to the guitar master... he did his work and this was the outcome.
What a fresh and creative twist on a classic alternative song! It's one of my favorites from a band I love, and you both took it and truly made it your own. Great job! - Eric
Thank you , Eric. I was playing with four chords and it sounded similar to the track "Creep". I have never been a cover artist or taken on others work from the music world but those chords created a backing and i ran with it, handed to Joseph and he added the guitars.. Different but in spirit it has the chords. Thanks for stopping by and hope you are well mate?
