The beginning of the song had me thinking I clicked the wrong page — soft and gentle opening, almost majestic, Ron.
Love how that solo just soars.

Big‑time sounding good, Booby.
Always great hearing some real outlaw country.

One of the longest songs I’ve ever heard.
Pretty sure I aged a full presidential term listening to it.

A bit of a different style from you, Randy. But still some very fine guitar picking with tone and sustain galore!

Still a story in there just like your country tunes. It is really great and Nelson does first-rate work, everytime! You guys are a killer combo!
This is absolutely beautiful Mel! I don't know how I missed this. Hope this finds you doing well!

Melvira,
What a beautiful tune. Lyrics and music so nicely done. Love it, my friend.
Congrats on song of the week, too. An excellent choice.

This is purely good solid songwriting at it's best...'nuff said.!
There is such a dreamy quality to this song. Started off ever so precise and soft. Just picked up so smoothly and so effortlessly. The art of songwriting is one that cannot be taught. You just have to have that gift and you truly have it. I enjoyed this. The singer has a unique tone to his voice and the connection to the lyrics and arrangement was very nice. This is a very nice Pop Contemporary vibe here. You did a fine job, Melsi. Well deserved honor this week. Bravo!
Hey...I just heard this one on the radio ! Pity it wasn't on SNR , but BBC Radio is nothing to be sneezed at either...
It's the proof of the pudding. If you have a great song, play it on your car stereo or a clock radio...If it still sounds great , you've got yourself a certified hit. That's the way producers like Phil Spector , before his hair and everything underneath it went bonkers , used to test new records for hit potential...
Yup, I know why this song was picked as "Song of the Week". Superb singer-songwriter composition. congrats.
Seamless match between the lyrics and the music creating an absolute gem of a song. Beautifully written, arranged, recorded and produced. Vocals just wonderful. They created a wistful, poignant atmosphere. I listened to it about 10 times on repeat and was taken back to an old relationship (don't tell my wife) that this really hit a chord on. Just fantastic. Congrats
How beautiful! The lyrics and music suit each other perfectly, and it's sung to perfection.
melsi! Vahur Kannikka!
congrats.. a really great song!
peace,
Very nice country song ...
Super song and it will be on SNR tonight!!!
Cheers,
Mike

A lighthearted easy rock song is perhaps the most difficult thing to pull off and have it sound...easy.
All songs start from an idea...then a passion for understanding...and this is what happens when the two meld perfectly.
Exceptional delivery and presentation.
Highly recommendable for any muso who whats to understand the art of songwriting...and what passion sounds like.
Ah, Mel, another gem from your pen !! This is magical...the music and vocal from Vahur do justice to your lyrics so well ... again, LOVE IT ! Gordon x
This is done beautifully Mel and Vahur! Possibly the best song I've heard thus far with your excellent lyric Melsi. That's saying something because you've had some real good lyric and songs before this one. This is a perfect crossover song that would fit many genres...as a lyricist and songwriter this is a special achievement with real commercial appeal. It could/should be a hit here and in the mainstream. Well done!
