Sometimes I Feel

Sometimes, I feel like everbody’s having fun.
I wish I was them – I want to be “liked”.Sometimes, I feel like I’m running out of time.
I think of the future but it doesn’t look bright.Take another one and say,
“tomorrow is another day.

My friends and my family
say I gotta get a grip.
I’m sure they mean well but it’s all in my head.The lights are still on but they’re talking to a ghost. 
I should take their advice but do my own thing, instead.Don’t talk - let them play
tomorrow, they’ll fade away.

Today, I’m alright, and breathing on my own.
I’m living off-line, 
I swear it can be done.I’ve closed down my feeds and thinking for myself.
I don’t need to be loved - I’m not the only one.Take another one and say,
tomorrow is another day.
