<p><strong>Pete Klimek</strong> was born in Prague and found himself in South Africa about the time the Russians occupied Czechoslovakia.</p> <p>He picked up his guitar before an audience in 1977 to perform his own compositions and never quite put it down since... making his vocation that of an eternal series of auditions as singer/songwriter. He attained the “Sons Of England” literary award, a book by William Blake and vinyl record by Bob Dylan - the highest recognition of literary achievement at his senior school. Klimek was also ranked among the top 10 tennis players in SA and was offered a tennis scholarship to Tennessee, USA.</p> <p>Together with artist, singer & songwriter, Paul Q, Pete chose poetry, lights and music to show him the world. Creativity brought him back to settle in the wonder of Europe in the 1990’s and the city of Rotterdam.</p> <p>Pete's photography has been shamelessly featured in various Dutch publications. His music still echoes in the hallways and alleys of Holland, Germany, the UK, Spain, Czech Republic, Belgium and various radio stations between the continents. A series of documentaries were made and aired on "Good Morning South Africa”.</p> <p>“Angels Dressed In Rainbows" is a luxurious anthology and collection of Pete Klimek's life-in-pages.
