<p>Psychotic Fury is an extreme thrash metal solo artist formed by Me (Damian Ichabod), in 2002 as "Vengeance".&nbsp; At first it was just an experiment to create the most extreme&nbsp; thrash that I could with a Guitar/bass/drum machine and a 4 track recorder and microphone. It was so badly done that I disbanded it soon after.&nbsp; Later on I needed another name for the solo artist because "Vengeance" was taken by at least 1 band. So my friend, who got me into Metal, thought up the name "Psychotic Fury".&nbsp; Since then I figured out how to master music better with A PC and mixing software... and ditched the 4 track and the other things I didn't need.</p><p>I continued to write stuff for it, but because I didn't have the time to record the kind of vocals I wanted (loud, hoarse, screams), I switched to doing growls for 6 years, and in those years the solo artist was absolute crap. I disbanded it in 2005 because it failed to live up to the 2002 material, which was thrash.</p><p>Looking back on it 6 years later, the guitar sound is the one thing I liked, so I decided to reform in it 2008. Since then It has been a mix of 80's thrash, Melodic Death Metal, Brutal Death Metal, and Progressive Metal, with touches of Black metal here and there. Vocals are harsh like 80's metallica but more extreme. Guitars are fast and complex. Same with the drumming. Time changes are common. The sound is dark and <br />inhospitable with no happy melodies, ever. That's one thing I hate about mainstream music so I avoided it like the plague. Lyrics are about politics, censorship, frivolous lawsuits, conformity, war, bullying, brainwashing and moral panics, especially ones that surround Metal, and Violent video games. Every once and a while a really bad joke song is done to lighten the mood. These joke songs have sick humor.... A family trait gotten from my<br />older brother...
