By NASH-I DANGER, 2025-12-30

Rowenash “Nash-I” Rose, professionally known as Rabble Boss, developed a deep passion for music at a tender age, with a clear determination to pursue it professionally. By the age of ten, Nash-I had already discovered his calling—setting him on a creative path that would shape his life and career.

He began his journey as a rapper, but a pivotal encounter with Craig Hickey (Ignius) inspired a creative shift toward Dancehall and Reggae, genres that better captured his evolving sound and cultural expression.

During his high school years, Nash-I found mentorship under Dancehall legend Mad Cobra, whose guidance played a critical role in refining his lyrical skill and artistic discipline. Around this time, Nash-I also began ghostwriting for established artists, gaining invaluable behind-the-scenes experience and insight into the music industry.

His growth continued through a meeting with Cassette Jones, a pioneering force in Jamaica’s mixtape era, who recognized Nash-I’s versatility and encouraged him to expand beyond performance. This influence led Nash-I into studio engineering, beat composition, and music production, significantly broadening his creative skill set.

In 2007, Nash-I joined forces with Ignius and Shieka Hunte to form Warrantee Productions, a forward-thinking collective dedicated to blending classic reggae influences with modern sounds. As his technical and artistic abilities matured, Nash-I became a respected figure in the local music scene—supporting emerging talent through beat production, engineering, and community-based music events.

By 2015, Nash-I adopted the moniker Rabble Boss, marking a new chapter as a co-producer and engineer for Dirtworx Entertainment. Through this platform, he collaborated with some of Jamaica’s most influential artists, including Beenie Man, Busy Signal, Vybz Kartel, Queen Ifrica, Mr. Bertus, I-Wayne, and many others—further solidifying his credibility and creative influence within the industry.

In 2018, Rabble Boss served as assistant studio engineer and voice actor for iconic Jamaican duo Twin of Twins on their Billboard-recognized project Family. He also showcased his on-screen versatility with a lead role in the music video “Everybody’s Fool.”

From 2017 to 2021, Rabble Boss held the position of Librarian and Engineer at Fyah 105 FM, one of Kingston’s leading radio stations. In this role, he curated and directed music programming, playing a key part in shaping the station’s sound and reinforcing its status as a powerful voice in Jamaican radio.

In mid-2021, Rabble Boss expanded his radio presence after being recruited by SunCity 104.9 FM, where he produced the popular Top 5 countdown show, “Top Five, Five Vibez.” This role further established him as a tastemaker, bridging artists and audiences while spotlighting the best of Jamaican music.

Over the past three years, Rabble Boss has also been a key member of EDGE 105 FM, working on the highly acclaimed Ron Muschette Morning Show. He holds the position of Official Audio Engineer and is an integral part of the show’s production team. Rabble Boss is fully responsible for the editing, management, and quality control of all audio content, including live daily broadcasts, recorded segments, interviews, and promotional materials. His role is essential in maintaining the show’s professional sound quality, consistency, and overall production standards, contributing directly to its continued success and strong listener engagement.

Today, Rabble “Nash-I” Boss continues to evolve—refining his sound, pushing creative boundaries, and collaborating with like-minded visionaries. With an unwavering commitment to innovation and artistic excellence, he stands poised to leave a lasting imprint on Jamaica’s music landscape and beyond.
