Whiskey & Cold Beer

There's seven wonders And Seven deadly sins I don't need no one judging me About the state I'm in
I don't want your help now baby I don't need you here I will sit and drown my sorrows In whiskey and cold beer
I've been damaged Not been treated right But what don't kill me makes me stronger I'm ready for the fight
I don't want your help now baby I don't need you here I will sit and drown my sorrows In whiskey and cold beer
(Bridge)
It doesn't matter It don't mean a thing I've learned to build a wall around me That keeps out everything
I don't want your help now baby I don't need you here I will sit and drown my sorrows In whiskey and cold beer

You can't go wrong with Whiskey and Cold Beer! They go hand in hand with rock music and you have all three in this song. I like the subtle backing voices during the cool 1st lead solo bridge. Excellent panning here Ronbo!

Sorry I can't make it to your shows, Ron. I hope next month works better for me. That's a great slice of blues.

Used to play in many semi-pro bands in 70s, played bass for David Jackson (Van Der Graaf Generator) on some of his demo work. Have worked with Trevor Thornton - Drummer (Saxon, Asia), Ray Brookes - Multi instrumentalist and songwriter (Rory Gallagher Band), Kathy Short - Singer/songwriter (Kathy & the Short-List), Fred White - Drummer, Carol Sue - Singer/songwriter and guitarist, Ern and The TrueVulgarian - Singer/songwriters, Paul Rainbird (band mate from early bands) and Ricky Moore (Songwriter and guitarist). Played Windsor free festival on same billing as Hawkwind and met the late great lemmy. In the 80s played in "Shoot the Butler" who released an indie album, cut at Abbey Road. Back to gigging for a while, then the studio for a cassette release called "Final Curtain" by Flix. Wilderness for 10 years,. Now I am back writing and producing my own stuff. Cuts down on band disagreements :D
