There's a Wooden Shack
There's a wooden shack
With a neon light
It's off the beaten track
Where you can drink all night
My wife keeps calling me
She won't leave me alone
This is my sanctuary
The shack ain't got a phone
Now Boss-eyed Jim
He's been comiing for years
His wife keeps nagging him
So he's drinking beer
My wife keeps calling me
She won't leave me alone
This is my sanctuary
The shack ain't got a phone
Give me a bourbon
Make it on the rocks
Don't want to be a burden
I Don't want any shocks
(Bridge)
Now old man Hendricks
He says to me
Ain't nothing like an alcohol fix
To make you feel free
My wife keeps calling me
She won't leave me alone
This is my sanctuary
The shack ain't got a phone
(Breakdown)
My feet start tapping
As the music plays
I feel like dancin'
And drinking for days
My wife keeps calling me
She won't leave me alone
This is my sanctuary
The shack ain't gor a phone
My wife keeps calling me
She won't leave me alone
This is my sanctuary
The shack ain't got a phone
There's a wooden shack
With a neon light
There's a wooden shack
Where you can drink all night
There's a wooden shack
With a neon light
There's a wooden shack
Where you can drink all nightÂ
Thank you @moequinn @farrel-jackson and jimsae for the great feedback
Love the guitar tones in this, and the vocals are awesome, as always! You handle a great hook so well!
I like the beefy production and the fat guitars! A super vocal and harmonies. The repeated harmony guitar riff is cool. The bass break was a nice treat and so was the lead guitar work. Another winner Cuz!
cool song @ronbowes ~ reminds me of the Man Cave.....there are Woman Caves too...I know I have one of my own where music is alive & well
I love the Bass in this song
