Haven't touched a guitar in 3 weeks. Health has been a bit up and down. Feeling better so - I had this song with a verse of lyrics buzzing round in my head and, as is usual, had it all envisioned in my mind. I think I got it about 80% to what I thought, which is pretty good in my book. Most importantly, I had a real blast performing this one!

I dig the slide opening followed by the acapella verses...bluesy coolness! Slide, bluesy harp, and swampy vocals...all deep into the blues groove! I I can tell you're feeling better and I can hear the fun you had with this one...more than well done Cuz Ron!

Used to play in many semi-pro bands in 70s, played bass for David Jackson (Van Der Graaf Generator) on some of his demo work. Have worked with Trevor Thornton - Drummer (Saxon, Asia), Ray Brookes - Multi instrumentalist and songwriter (Rory Gallagher Band), Kathy Short - Singer/songwriter (Kathy & the Short-List), Fred White - Drummer, Carol Sue - Singer/songwriter and guitarist, Ern and The TrueVulgarian - Singer/songwriters, Paul Rainbird (band mate from early bands) and Ricky Moore (Songwriter and guitarist). Played Windsor free festival on same billing as Hawkwind and met the late great lemmy. In the 80s played in "Shoot the Butler" who released an indie album, cut at Abbey Road. Back to gigging for a while, then the studio for a cassette release called "Final Curtain" by Flix. Wilderness for 10 years,. Now I am back writing and producing my own stuff. Cuts down on band disagreements :D
