Song Lyrics
When the sun goes downAnd the city wakesAnd I need a drinkJust to stop the shakesAnd I look in your eyesAnd you lick your lipsThen you start to danceAnd you...
When the sun goes down And the city wakes And I need a drink Just to stop the shakes And I look in your eyes And you lick your lips Then you start to dance And you shake your hips
You are my honey bee Why don't you give it to me You are my honey bee Why don't you give it to me
When the lights go outĀ And I feel your skin And I feel the urge And the dance begins And your lips taste sweet And your body's hot And I have to have All that you got
You are my honey bee Why don't you give it to me You are my honey bee Why don't you give it to me
Now the music's loud With a tribal beat And it makes you writhe Under my sheets And you draw me in And you tantalise Then you fix my stareĀ And you mesmerise
You are my honey bee Why don't you give it to me You are my honey bee Why don't you give it to me

I like your Honey Bee song picture Cuz Ron!!!! A cool song to go with the picture also, lol. I like the tremolo guitar and the blues harp is always a treat. Excellent words and vocals!

Used to play in many semi-pro bands in 70s, played bass for David Jackson (Van Der Graaf Generator) on some of his demo work. Have worked with Trevor Thornton - Drummer (Saxon, Asia), Ray Brookes - Multi instrumentalist and songwriter (Rory Gallagher Band), Kathy Short - Singer/songwriter (Kathy & the Short-List), Fred White - Drummer, Carol Sue - Singer/songwriter and guitarist, Ern and The TrueVulgarian - Singer/songwriters, Paul Rainbird (band mate from early bands) and Ricky Moore (Songwriter and guitarist). Played Windsor free festival on same billing as Hawkwind and met the late great lemmy. In the 80s played in "Shoot the Butler" who released an indie album, cut at Abbey Road. Back to gigging for a while, then the studio for a cassette release called "Final Curtain" by Flix. Wilderness for 10 years,. Now I am back writing and producing my own stuff. Cuts down on band disagreements :D
Cheers @farrell-jackson
