You've been celebrating late last night Drank yourself a whole lot of beer I'd be worried if I wore your shoes When the little lady gets to hear
You keep on getting your fingers burned Shouldn't come much of a shock You do it again and you just don't learn You keep putting your head on the block
You've been snoozing in your backyard The front door needs a lick of paint Your woman thought she'd married a handyman But now she knows you really you ain't
You keep on getting your fingers burned Shouldn't come much of a shock You do it again and you just don't learn You keep putting your head on the block
You've been out late drinking again Wife's screaming on the phone You are in for some marital pain Just as soon as you get home You're such a risk taker You're not a peace maker You're nothing but an oath breaker You're gonna need an undertaker
You keep on getting your fingers burned Shouldn't come much of a shock You do it again and you just don't learn You keep putting your head on the block

Used to play in many semi-pro bands in 70s, played bass for David Jackson (Van Der Graaf Generator) on some of his demo work. Have worked with Trevor Thornton - Drummer (Saxon, Asia), Ray Brookes - Multi instrumentalist and songwriter (Rory Gallagher Band), Kathy Short - Singer/songwriter (Kathy & the Short-List), Fred White - Drummer, Carol Sue - Singer/songwriter and guitarist, Ern and The TrueVulgarian - Singer/songwriters, Paul Rainbird (band mate from early bands) and Ricky Moore (Songwriter and guitarist). Played Windsor free festival on same billing as Hawkwind and met the late great lemmy. In the 80s played in "Shoot the Butler" who released an indie album, cut at Abbey Road. Back to gigging for a while, then the studio for a cassette release called "Final Curtain" by Flix. Wilderness for 10 years,. Now I am back writing and producing my own stuff.
