<p><span style="font-family: helvetica;">Shaded Soul is a high-energy 7-piece band that has been established since 1985 by owner/keyboard player Renee Prescott. The unique vocal styling&rsquo;s and dynamic stage presence of our lead vocalists Adrienne Nails and Brian Meyers&nbsp;captivate audiences and keep the dance floor filled all night long. Shaded Soul has one of the hottest rhythm sections in New England consisting of Bob Hill on drums, Tom Perrone on lead guitar, and McAurthor Jaxsn on bass guitar, laying down a funky groove to artists like Marvin Gaye, The Commodores, Patti LaBelle, and Alicia Keys.&nbsp; Last but not least are the &ldquo;Funktified&rdquo; horns of Bill Rood playing tenor and alto sax throwing down horn lines from Earth Wind &amp; Fire, Average White Band, and James Brown.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: helvetica;">Shaded Soul is known all over New England for our stage show and versatility in musical styles ranging from the 40&rsquo;s big band music to the top 40 of today. Shaded Soul has been the opening band for The Four Tops, Three Dog Night, Sister Sledge, Alicia Bridges, Mario and Comedians Howie Mandel, Susanne Westenhoefer, Karen Williams.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: helvetica;">Shaded Soul has been chosen multiple times by &ldquo;Modern Bride Magazine&rdquo; as one of the top 150 Bands in the Nation.&nbsp; Shaded Soul is also active in the community doing benefit and charity work with the following organizations:&nbsp; Hartford Riverfront Recapture, Nutmeg Big Brothers/Big Sisters, American Cancer Society, Mercy Housing and Shelter, My Sisters Place, MDA, UConn Health Center Pediatric HIV program, just to name a few.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: helvetica;">Audiences say &ldquo;Their energy is pure&rdquo;, &ldquo;Everybody from my Grandparents to my little kids enjoyed their performance&rdquo;, &ldquo;Amazing &amp; fun to watch&rdquo;, &ldquo;We give them a triple A+!&rdquo;</span></p>
