Skyband was a signed East Coast USA recording band back in 1969.  The original band played psychedelic rock with an exotic melodic sound.  The band consisted of: Al Fridkis, (Keyboards, lead and background vocals), Cecil Lyons, (Bass guitar, Saxophone, and background vocals), Lenny Rocket (Drums, lead and background vocals).  As the black light era of psychedelic rock changed, the band disbanded in 1972.  The band reformed in the 1980s, shortened their name to Sky70, and recorded live a few soft rock songs which are found today on digital music sites worldwide.  Lenny Rocket was the only original member of the psychedelic band, and sings lead vocals on all the new songs.
