They clasp their hands and close their eyes

Hoping they won’t be deprived

Some get lucky many don’t and carry on as before

Miracles don’t come cheap we carry on wanting more

Who is the shepherd and who’re the sheep the leaderless and the led

Floating round and grasping at straws a constant state of dread

Do we act or do we decline caught in a conflict of choice

Do we fight or do we concede Do we have a voice

Follow blind or choose for ourselves the fault line deep inside

Choosing left or choosing right only we can decide
