I use computer software for composition and performance/playback. I don't use a midi keyboard or really a keyboard of any kind for composition as I find this mostly distracts me. I prefer to directly work in notation. <br /><br />I use notation based software, so I basically create a virtual score. I'm currently using a new notation-based composition/score editor software program to help me to realize my sound palette.
