Within the hour, My Father, home for lunch, sat beside me on the couch with the body of a D-18 martin pressed against the blankets i was wrapped in... and played for me. Music from a guitar is quite literally the first sound in my life. By age 3, I had taken to a cheap little Gibson flat top, (which I eventually destroyed), tuned to E-cross tune and i used a pocket knife to bar the chords, while my fingers were too small. Along with the constant sounds of early chet Atkins, Merle Travis recordings and the AM radio blasting out the new sound of rock"n"roll, there were always wonderful guitars around, like a brand new 1954 Sratocaster,Really fastenated with that one. It sounded like sparkling diamonds...or maby it was the glitter sprinkeled into the light blue paint job on dad's home made amplifier. <span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="color: #ff6600;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">http://www.myspace.com/macksandersband</span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></p><p><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="color: #ffffff;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 23px;"><span style="color: #ffffff;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="color: #ff6600;"> </span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></p><p><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="color: #ffffff;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 23px;"><span style="color: #ffffff;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="color: #00ffff; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 11px;"><span style="font-size: medium;">Robin Church </span><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"> <span style="color: #ffffff; font-family: Arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">Based in Lancaster, PA, I am a freelance trumpeter and keyboard player.
